What We're Interested In:
At Crave, we acquire thousands of cards weekly from collectors. While we're passionate about acquiring cards, we can't accept every card that comes our way. Below, we outline our criteria for what we do and don't purchase.
Our Commitment: We take pride in offering collectors an exceptional range of highly sought-after sports and TCG cards. As lifelong collectors ourselves, we understand the importance of sourcing cards that meet rigorous standards of collectibility. Therefore, we're dedicated to purchasing cards that meet the following criteria:
Sports Cards: Our focus is on purchasing sports cards from various eras, including ultra-modern, modern stars, and vintage Hall of Famers. Whether it's baseball, football, basketball, or other sports cards, we're eager to evaluate them for purchase, provided they meet our Purchasing Guidelines below. Please note that while we're interested in many sports cards from 1980-2000, there are exceptions. Refer to the Purchasing Guidelines below for more details.
Pokémon/TCG Cards: As one of the leading TCG retailers, we're constantly seeking rare and valuable cards. From holographic Charizards to the elusive Elsa Enchanted, we're keen to expand our premium TCG card collection, as long as they meet our Purchasing Guidelines below.
Sealed Product: At Crave, we boast a diverse range of sealed wax products. We're always on the lookout for sealed hobby boxes, booster boxes, loose packs, and retail boxes.
Our Purchasing Guidelines: Top-Quality Condition: We prefer cards in excellent condition, devoid of significant wear, creases, or damage. Mint or near-mint cards are highly desirable and command premium prices. Graded cards take precedence, as we value their authenticated quality, condition, and enhanced market desirability.
Valued at Over $10: We prioritize cards valued at over $10 to ensure we're acquiring items with significant market demand and value for our customers.
"Junk Wax Era" (1980-2000): We typically avoid purchasing most sports cards from the "junk wax era," spanning 1980-2000. While exceptions exist, the majority of cards produced during this period were mass-produced, leading to diminished interest among collectors. The only exception is for Hall of Famers or stars like Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, etc.
Complete Sets: While we're interested in large collections, we don't buy many complete sets from a specific year and product. Instead, we focus on acquiring individual cards meeting our value and condition criteria.
How to Sell Your Cards:
Visit Crave: To start the selling process, simply visit Crave and join our waitlist. One of our professional buyers will assist you and determine if your collection meets our criteria. Saturdays tend to be our busiest days, so consider visiting on a different day if possible.
Evaluation Process: Our team of experts meticulously assesses your collection's value by comparing it to sold listings on eBay and TCG Player. We consider factors such as rarity, demand, and condition to determine a fair market price.
Offer and Payment: After evaluating your collection, we'll provide a competitive offer for your cards. Typically, we offer the choice of cash or store credit. If you accept our offer, we'll arrange for payment or credit to your account.
Card Shows: Consult our Events page for our show schedule if you prefer to sell to us outside of Crave.
